JUNE BAHTRA – TRADITIONAL SIAMESE JUNK CRUISE:

If you wish to enjoy a unique experience cruising idyllic Phang Nga Bay in serenity and calm, away from the crowds, then you should consider this tour onboard a traditional Siamese Junk. You can relax on deck cushions admiring the amazing scenery with a gentle sea breeze blowing under the sun canopy while letting the experienced crew take care of the sailing. You will visit James Bond Island, stretch your legs at a Sea Gypsy village perched over the water on stilts, dine on the ship and return to the hotel in time for sunset. An unforgettable experience.

Itinerary:
07:00: Pick up from The Villas by air–conditioned minibus and transfer to the jetty at the Yacht Haven in the north of the Island.
08:30: Board June Bahtra for your cruise through enchanting Phang Nga Bay. Welcome drink on arrival.
11:15: Visit James Bond Island and take a local longtail boat to the Sea Gypsy Village. Explore the fascinating mangrove delta and the Grotto Cave.
13:00: Thai buffet lunch onboard.
14:15: Cruise through Phang Nga Bay, stopping for swimming (weather permitting) before returning at a leisurely pace to Phuket Island.
16:15: Arrive back to pier and transfer back to The Villas, arriving at your Villa around 17:3

Trips include return transfer to and from the jetty, welcome drink on board, Thai buffet lunch on board, tea, coffee and soft drinks an English–speaking guide everyday. If you wish to opt for a more economical or local option, we recommend visiting RAWAI BEACH, just a 5 minute drive from The Villas, and taking a speed boat or long tail boat from the beach to one of the many outlaying islands.

No visit to Phuket can be complete without taking a boat trip to Banana Beach, whether you choose a day trip arranged through our Tour Manager or directly with Banana Beach, or you decide to rent a long tail boat or speed boat your selves, this beach should not be missed. Coral Island is a 15 minute speed boat ride, or 30 minute long tail boat ride from Rawai Beach, and with two popular beaches and some hidden gems, you will enjoy the natural beauty, aquamarine waters, beautiful scenery and a perfect sunset ride back to Phuket.
