NAI HARN and RAWAI:
In addition to the listings below there are several other establishments worth trying, whether it is for the 150 baht buffet breakfast at THAIPHOON, or an afternoon cake at A SPOONFUL OF SUGAR, or one of the other Western/Thai Restaurant options or the many Thai run "cheep and cheerful" roadside eateries, the selection is numerous!
On the corner of Soi Naya, as you turn towards The Villas, you can't help but notice the Crepes Village Restaurant, with its distinctive style of small wooden bungalows, it is open all day long to serve breakfast pancakes, through to lunch and dinner savory main courses and deserts.
Crepes Village is a different option for a tasty meal, daytime treat or delicious desert, also offering wines and cocktails and a takeaway and delivery service, if desired.
Amalfis Ristorante & Pizzeria:
Nai Harn is certainly abundant in Italian Restaurants, and if you are a fan of pizzas, Amalfis is certainly one you should try, particular as it is so conveniently located at the end of The Villas road, Soi Naya.
The restaurant is spacious and welcoming, with a fabulous selection of pizzas and other Italian favourites to choose from. A takeaway service is also available, so you can enjoy the delicious food in the comfort of your villa if desired.
Certainly the most well known and popular local restaurant and bar, located in the centre of Nai Harn is "DaVinci". This Italian Restaurant (offering a great selection of European and Thai specialities) also make their own pizzas (offering entertainment for kids to make their own) and has a separate play area where kids can safely play and be amused while parents relax and enjoy dinner.
However, away from the children's area there is a relaxed seating area and bar, The V Lounge, where they serve a selection of fine wines and cocktails. "DaVinci" is where the local expats go to relax and unwind. Also offering a guest pick up service from The Villas, it is a restaurant not to be missed.
Please contact the Villa Manager or DaVinci directly for reservations and pick up service:

Directly opposite Bleu Blanc is one of the best Thai Restaurants in Nai Harn. Banana Corner is a large "local" restaurant set in a garden, that would best be described as "cheap and cheerful" ... good food, both Thai and international (although with a German influence), basic surroundings and furnishings, but very good value for money.
Very good to order Thai takeaway from if you call ahead of time and then pop out to collect the food 20 - 30 minutes later.

Situated on Sai Yuan Road, heading towards Chalong from The Villas, you will find this popular intimate Italian restaurant, for very good food with an Italian influence, and an excellent selection of "specials".
The relaxed friendly ambiance is an ideal hideaway if you wish to avoid restaurants buzzing with tourists.
Hidden in one of Nai Harn's back roads, on the way to Andaman View, and a favourite with the owners of Villa Maria, is this very popular restaurant. With a strong French and Italian influence, but still offering a good selection of Thai favourites, it boasts an extensive menu.
Le Celtique's decoration combines an eclectic mix of Thai and French artifacts with a beautiful stone Buddhist freeze, chunky wooden furniture and soft ambient lighting, making this a perfect choice for families to relax or discerning diners to try any number of a wide selection of European or Thai dishes. Complimented by a good wine selection this restaurant is still reasonably priced with attentive service.
Maggie and Mario's Pizzeria (M & M's):
Continuing with the selection of Italian Restaurants in Nai Harn, if you turn right out of Soi Naya, next to Crepes Village, and head towards Nai Harn Beach, after the right hand bend you will notice M & M's, the oldest and most established Pizzeria in the area. Not only are the Pizzas extremely appetizing and good value for money, but M & M's offer a wide selection of delicious pastas and salads, as well as tempting deserts.
With a great atmosphere, as this restaurant is always popular with local ex-pats and tourists, you are assured of an enjoyable meal. M & M's also offer a takeaway service, so you can call to place orders and pop along to collect them later.
A little further along the same road, heading towards Nair Harn Beach, just before the lake, your will find Nai Harn's only Mexican Restaurant. Well-liked and popular with locals, Los Amigos offers excellent Mexican food at reasonable prices.
It is not necessary to make a reservation, unless you are a particularly large party, you can just drop in as service is swift and turn over in this informal restaurant speedy. Telephone to order great Tex-Mex takeaway food to enjoy in the comfort of your Villa.
Conveniently located on Rawai Beach Road, this modest bar and restaurant is hospitable and likeable, offering a pleasant bar area downstairs and an intimate and satisfying restaurant upstairs. The restaurant serves excellent western dishes to suit all tastes and a good selection of Thai options.
Food is superb, great cocktails, appealing setting and very good value for money, so well worth a visit, particularly if you want a change from Thai food. The restaurant is open daily from 9am, to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a Happy Hour until 7pm.
Another popular choice open all year round is Mandos, located on Rawai Seafront. A more plush looking restaurant than the majority of choices along the same stretch of road, Mandos offers Thai food designed to appeal to foreigners (so less spicy than dishes found in more local Thai establishments) and a good selection of western meat dishes, particularly their selection of steaks.
The crisp white tablecloths and comfortable surroundings compliment the good food, friendly service and an extremely good chocolate mousse for desert!
Continuing down Rawai Beach, past a varied selection of bars that range in popularity depending on the day of the week, but always fun for after dinner drinks, you will find yourself at Nikitas Restaurant. Again, open all year round, and popular with locals and tourists, this is a favoured choice as it is located right on the water, with unspoiled views out across the Andaman Sea.
Food is excellent, with an extensive menu catering to western and Thai tastes, and accompanied by a good selection of wines and cocktails. Suitable for lunch or dinner (open from 10am), followed by after dinner drinks, Nikitas' friendly atmosphere, with subtle lighting and casual decoration encourages relaxed socializing at any time.
Situated almost at the traffic lights at the turning into Sai Yuan from the main Chalong to Rawai Road is the first class Serenity Terraces Resort, with two fabulous dining options. The East 88 Beach Club is the trendy restaurant built around the resorts infinity swimming pool serving it's own fusion of Thai and Western dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
It is a perfect location to enjoy an excellent meal, in superior surroundings, but still with the relaxed ambiance of poolside dining. Balu's Lounge and Bar is perfect for sundowners and cocktails, accompanied by choices from their comfort food menu, while again, taking in the stunning views.
The East 88 Beach Club hosts many special events throughout the year, and the website gives more information on these events and the dining options available.
A little further along the road towards Rawai you will find the newly renovated Vijitt Resort, beautifully landscaped and comprising of 92 luxurious villas, and offering a number of dining options. We recommend The Savoury, which offers all day dining, commencing with a sumptuous buffet breakfast and options of Al A Carte and Buffet Dinners, all served in a beautiful setting adjacent to the extensive infinity edge swimming pool and overlooking Chalong Bay. This Restaurant is particularly renowned for its Sunday Buffet Lunch, suitable for anyone to enjoy the wide selection of food on offer.
Alternatively, the flagship restaurant of the resort is "Baan Vijitt", a Sino-Porugese style house that's architecture and decoration suggests days of a bye-gone era where the food compliments the surroundings and guests revel in the delicious flavours of dishes with a Southern Thailand influence. The ambiance if of romantic luxury, and perfectly located on the waterfront surrounded by lush gardens, Baan Vijitt is an ideal choice for a special celebration.
As an alternative, a very relaxed local favourite is Friendship Beach, just down the road, on the main road to Rawai, a fantastic venue for all the family, especially if you have children. The resort is located directly on Friendship Beach, a shallow and very tidal beach (some days the tide is out half a km) and has a selection of small bungalows for holiday or longer term rental.
The restaurant is designed around the large inviting swimming pool, with children's pool, that dining guests are welcome to use, plus with easy access to the beach, Friendship Beach is an excellent destination to enjoy a long leisurely lunch or a casual and relaxed evening meal. The extensive menu offers many western favourites, Thai food and a good selection of children's options and is open from breakfast until well into the evening.
Norbus Steak House:
If you are a steak lover and craving a western style Rib Eye, Fillet, T-bone, Tenderloin or Chateaubriand for dinner, then you certainly should visit this hidden away eccentrically decorated, open fronted restaurant.
The bold colours, unique design, large chandeliers and eye opening ornamentation ensure a memorable evening, not just because of the excellent European, Tibetan and Thai food. Reservations are recommended and a free pick up and drop off service is offered.

Once just a working harbor village, Chalong is rising rapidly to meet the needs of tourists and ex-pats alike, although a little lacking in up market venues many local eateries serve up wonderful local fares and you can be sure of a warm welcome.
Specialising in seafood this large, open air restaurant, with a 200 metre terrace, overlooking Chalong Bay and Pier is a well established venue that has been open for 30 years. Kan Eang's recent refurbishment allows guests to enjoy the panoramic views, while dining on a tantalizing meal at arguably one of the best seafood restaurants on the Island.
The chic décor, with a traditional Thai influence compliments the extensive menu, specifically using freshly caught seafood, such at Phuket lobster, tiger prawns, oysters, crabs and a variety of fish, and accompanied by local Thai specialities to ensure a dining experience not to me missed. Kan Eang also boasts the Bay Bar, for pre or after dinner drinks, and the K1 Kaffe for breakfast or afternoon tea, cakes and ice cream, all conveniently located 10 minutes from The Villas.
A little further along Chalong seafront, overlooking the numerous varieties of boats and out towards Panwa Cape and Lon Island, The Lighthouse serves a hearty breakfast, and a good selection of European and Thai dishes to suit most tastes.
The Lighthouse is a popular meeting place for locals and tourists, especially those with an interest in boats, who want to enjoy the relaxed, friendly atmosphere anytime of day, and well into the evening. The generous food servings are tasty, highly rated, and good value for money for anyone with a healthy appetite.
Open: from 9am to 10pm daily.
The Green Man:
If you want a touch of English fare and a larger than life English landlord, plus activities for the children, then visit this traditional English Tudor style Pub. Turning left at Chalong Circle as you approach from The Villas, heading towards Kata (about 10 minutes away).
The Green Man offers an extensive menu covering breakfast, traditional pub favourites, bar snacks, vegetarian, Indian and of course Thai dishes, plus Sunday's traditional roasts, so there is a huge variety to choose from. Many of the islands finest restaurants are located in Kata and are within easy reach of The Villas - Nai Harn
Mom Tri's Kitchen:
For a superior choice, well situated in neighbouring Kata, this award winning restaurant is set just above the rocks and overlooks Kata Noi Beach. With a choice of open-air terrace, covered patio or inside a Thai sala, you are perfectly seated to take in the panoramic sea views and dine on the sumptuous Thai and European food created by the talented executive chef.
The stunning setting and romantic ambiance adds to creating an unrivaled destination for indulgence to celebrate that special occasion. Offering a delicious selection of French, and Thai dishes, with an extensive range of meat and seafood, all prepared to gastronomic perfection by the Executive Chef, this is a superb restaurant to enjoy the ultimate, high quality, flavoursome dining experience.
The restaurant also offers a comprehensive wine list, as their wine cellar is considered one of the best on the Island. Children under the age of 8 are welcome until 8pm. Open from 6:30am for breakfast, through to 11pm for lunch and dinner.
Dino Park is located between Kata and Karon, very close to Marina Divers and the Marina Phuket resort, Karon Road (where you can park), on the south west coast of Phuket, about 15 minutes from The Villas. Dino Park offers the opportunity for the whole family to play an 18 hole mini golf course, within a unique "prehistoric" environment. The mini-golf course features authentic scale replicas of dinosaurs, blending with the themed surroundings and effective sounds and lighting.
Before or after playing a great round of mini golf you can sit back and relax in the Bar and Restaurant, which has a prehistoric, rainforest theme. A selection of Thai and western meals are available, and the fun primeval jungle setting is great fun for children of all ages. Also, if you visit Dino Park in the evening, and plan your visit to be around 19:30, you will be treated to a visit by a baby elephant who visits the Dino Park entrance each evening. A great opportunity to feed and photograph a native of Thailand.
On the Rock (Marina Cottages):
The magnificent location of this restaurant, enabling you to enjoy the stunning views along Karon Beach and the evening sunsets, is complimented by the excellent seafood and Thai dishes served for lunch or dinner.
Also open for breakfast, this local favourite provides unpretentious dishes of a high standard, but at modest prices considering the excellent service and romantic location. A casual and relaxed atmosphere encourage a leisurely dinner, and repeat visits by many guests.
Two Chef's have three restaurants, described as on "Kata Beach", "Kata Centre" and "Karon Beach". Although all good, our recommendation is to visit "Kata Centre", located just before Dino Park in Kata, on the opposite side of the road.
With two floors can accommodate about 110 diners, the decoration is modern with a local Thai influence, and the food is a mix of appetizing Thai dishes, Scandinavian specialities, and excellent western favourites, plus a Specials board and children's menu. Friendly staff always make you welcome and the food is delicious, reasonably priced and comfortable for the entire family.
Situated high on the hill between Kata and Chalong, Ratri has stunning views over Kata and the Andaman Sea, accessed by climbing s steep road for a few hundred metres, the view from the top is well worth it, particularly to watch the setting sun. The menu is a mix of Thai fusion and inventive, modern dishes, and complimented by an extensive wine list, and as the Restaurant name suggests, live jazz music accompanies your meal.
The fashionable and stylish interior design generates a sophisticated atmosphere, and the broad spacing of the tables creates privacy for intimate dining. This romantic and memorable setting to enjoy good food is not cheap, but it is certainly worth considering for a special or unforgettable experience. Open from 3pm daily.
Patong has a large selection of restaurants to choose from, prices can be slightly higher as this is the main tourist area. These are our recommendations:
Just north of Patong, on Kalim Beach, and part of the highly commended Baan Rim Pa Group of Restaurants, Joe's Downstairs has a stylish all white bar, and high class restaurant with large terrace, perfect for sipping cocktails and watching the stunning sunsets over the ocean. The dining experience has to be one of the best on the Island, and all the food is a perfect combination of western delights, and specially created selections of tapas and designer dishes.
Any of the Baan Rim Pa Restaurants are destinations not to be missed, but for relax sophistication, elegant and chic environment, don't miss Joe's Downstairs. Reservations are recommended.
Baan Rim Pa:
Without any doubt Baan Rim Pa is the most famous restaurant on the Island, and indeed one of the most famous in the Kingdom. Situated high above the rocks at the north of Patong Beach, with panoramic ocean views and the sound of breaking waves below, this open air, two storey traditionally teak stylish house, features a comprehensive menu of "Royal Thai Cuisine" that is exquisite and should not be missed.
Your exceptional dining experience can be accompanied by wines from the extensive wine cellar, which has been the winner of the prestigious Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence each year since 2002, and all rounded off with an after dinner drink in the elegant piano bar, you can't help but enjoy such a memorable experience.
The third, but by no means lesser, option that makes up the Baan Rim Pa trio of Restaurants is situated on the rocks, adjacent to it's sister restaurant, so again has stunning views, but with that dramatic feeling of being seated a few so close to the waters edge makes Da Maurizio's a sort after dining venue.
With an emphasis on organic food being used to create exceptional Italian dishes, the menu offers a variety of seafood, imported meats and homemade pastas. Although this is a more pricey Italian restaurant than most, the dynamic location and unprecedented high standard of food is a must for the discerning guest.
Located in the Penthouse on the 9th floor of the Sky Inn Condotel in Patong, making it the highest open air restaurant in Phuket, the aptly named, 9th Floor, Swiss owned and run establishment boasts panoramic views over the town and out across the Andaman Sea. The windows open from floor to ceiling, and the stylish black and white décor is chic and elegant, thus the ambiance is sophisticated and perfect to appreciate the excellent food.
The Swiss influenced menu has a wide selection of European dishes to choose from, all prepared and presented faultlessly to ensure the most delicious flavours are enjoyed by everyone. The 9th Floor is highly recommended, especially for a special occasion, and certainly a memorable evening.
Terrazzo (Holiday Inn):
If you are shopping along the beach road in Patong, and want to stop for dinner, dropping into the Holiday Inn's Terrazzo Restaurant is a convenient and tasty Italian option. The restaurant is always lively with a friendly and inviting atmosphere usually made up of holidaymakers and tourists, and serves a wide selection of Italian favourite dishes, accompanied by a good wine list. Also being Italian, the pizzas selection is fabulous, and with some unusual alternatives, can certainly be considered some of the best on the Island.
Half the restaurant is al fresco with cooling fans and the other half being inside so it caters for all weather, and with the wood fired oven's delicious aroma and an attractive bar area to enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail, Terrazzo is one of the best venues to enjoy an after beach meal or take a break while shopping. Open daily from 18:00 to 24:00.
Hard Rock Café (Marriot Courtyard Hotel):
Phuket's Hard Rock Café is located on part of the ground and first floors of the Marriot Courtyard Hotel on the main road running parallel with the beach road in Patong, surrounded by many hotels, shops, market stalls and painting galleries. This 1,330 square metre venue has ample space for dining, outside patio seating, a entertaining bar area, stage for live music acts and retail "Rock Shop".
The Hard Rock Cafés' signature of displaying memorabilia from famous music icons is abundantly apparent in Phuket, and the menu and drinks selection is up to the International Standard expected of such chain of restaurants. The American themed food, served in generous portions, will satisfy even the heartiest of appetites.
Irish Times (Jungceylon):
There are a large number of restaurants in Patong, all with their own special signatures, and in the Jungceylon Shopping Mall there is a wide selection to choose from, including your favourite fast food restaurants, a mix of restaurants from across Asia and a selection of European eateries. One of the most popular venues in Jungceylon is definitely the Irish Times Pub, particularly if you are craving a pint of Guinness and some traditional homemade food.
The Irish Times offers a tasty menu with an assortment of western favourites and popular Thai dishes, all generous serving sizes and in a friendly, informal setting. Also offering an all day Irish Breakfast to set you up for the day, or being a great destination to end up after a hard days shopping or sightseeing. With special events arranged for sporting events, and a Wednesday Night Quiz and Sunday Carvery there are always plenty of people to create warm and hospitable ambience.
Brush - Kalim:
Also located on the stretch of beach just north of Patong, known as Kalim, is this chic, eclectically decorated restaurant, that has used recyclable materials mixed with white painted wooden strips to create a unique effect. The owner is renown for his ability to create and invent artistic works from all manner of materials, and the large open fronted restaurant lends itself to such eccentricity. Some of the designer pieces are for sale if you wish to take a particular item home with you.
Diners can choose to be seated on the ground or upstairs levels, and the creative tapas and adventurous menu with an array of distinctive dishes should definitely be experienced. At 21:00 the relaxed dining ambiance changes to more upbeat as DJ Kensho entertains with his music until 01:00am. Open from 16:00 for a late lunch, through the evening for diners and until 1:00 for party goers.
Again two excellent restaurants with some of the best views in Phuket.
For one of the best restaurants to take in stunning views, while enjoying mouth watering food and palatable wines you must visit Silk Restaurant and Bar at Andara in Kamala. Well worth the journey up the coast to indulge yourself in not only the surroundings, but the most appetizing and delectable Thai food on the Island. The Thai menu is designed to offer local favourites adapted to illustrate Silk's characteristic quality and excellence, and there is still the option of more traditional western favourites and a children's menu to keep all the family content.
Guests can dine outside, above the stylish infinity edge swimming pool, relaxing in the smart, leisurely environment, or choose the air conditioned dining area with its magnificent bar area featuring a impressive vaulted ceiling.
If you wish to venture north from The Villas, another place worth considering is Rockfish, in Kamala, with great food and wines and views from the rocks at the south end of Kamala Bay.
Open all day, Rockfish is a stunning destination for breakfast or lunch, served from 8:00 to 16:00, and then the ambiance changes for diner, as it becomes a romantic candle lit, intimate beach front retreat, with a sumptuous menu combining favourite Thai dishes with a mix of appetizing western creations and desirable seafood specialties.
Great restaurants in a wonderful setting... we highly recommend this selection.
Catch Beach Club (Twin Palms):
Moving further north, up the Island, a highly recommended and well known destination is the fabulous Catch Beach Club, taking up a huge expanse directly on Surin Beach and with a stylish building behind, Catch has to be one of the most popular restaurants and bars on the Island. Offering a full al le carte menu for lunch and dinner comprising of popular Thai dishes and a selection of western favourites, pizzas and salads, plus the option to try the outstanding BBQs served every Tuesday and Friday evening, it is well worth the 40 minute journey to get to this restaurant. The extensive BBQ offering a huge selection of foods can be selected on an "all you can eat" food only basis, or with a bottle of wine or champagne, so it caters for everyone.
The restaurant opens at 11:00am and is open until 1:00am with last kitchen orders, on non-BBQ nights, being taken at 22:30. Reservations are highly recommended, and you are advised to view the website for further information and details of special events, such as the regular Winemaker dinners featuring Michelin Star adorned Chef.
BANG TAO & THE LAGUNA:
In the Laguna area in Bang Tao there is a good selection of bars and restaurants if you wish to travel that far, in general they are more expensive than similar establishments in the south of the Island as they are catering for the 5 Star Hotels that monopolise the area. However, for the discerning diner, who does not mind the inflated prices there are a few notable destinations:
Siam Supper Club:
One of the most famous restaurants on the Island, due to the length of time it has been established, it's recurrent clientele and sometimes famous visitors, combined with the perfect decor and ambiance, and of course sumptuous food is Siam Supper Club.
The intimate lighting and tasteful decoration is pleasing to everyone, and with mellow jazz and lounge music enhancing the ambiance guests will not be disappointed with their dining experience. The menu combines the best selection of East and West flavours in its specially created cuisine and is complimented by a carefully chosen selection of wines.
Since it's opening in 1996 Tatonka's has grown in popularity and enjoys a popular reputation with local residents and is friendly and inviting to tourists who wish to be part of the experience. The restaurants cuisine has been created using Asian, Latino and Mediterranean influences in its Tapas style appetizers, and flavoursome main courses.
Reasonably priced with a relaxed atmosphere, the restaurant has seating for 30 guests indoors and a further 20 people in an outside courtyard, planted with lush foliage and vegetation that can be completely covered if it rains.
360 (The Pavillions):
The Pavillions is a boutique resort of 5 Star Private Villas located in the hills above Layan Beach, and its romantic 360 Restaurant and Bar is at the top of the lush driveway running through the resort. With panoramic 360 degree views over Phuket, there is no better venue to enjoy a vibrant sunset and sample the exquisite designer cocktails.
After sunset a delicious dinner can be enjoyed under the stars and the twinkling lights, with a cooling breeze blowing in from the sea to create a charming and idyllic atmosphere. The creative menu accompanied by a selection of carefully chosen wines completes a dining experience to be savoured and enjoyed, and certainly memorable for years to come.
BOAT LAGOON & ROYAL PHUKET MARINA:
Located on the boardwalk of the Royal Phuket Marina, directly adjacent to the beautiful yachts that are moored only metres away, Les Anges is a fabulous location for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The restaurant is run by a Master Baker and Professional Chocolatier, and specializes in homemade breads, pastries, cakes, chocolate and ice-creams, so breakfast or afternoon tea is a pure delight. In addition, the comprehensive menu offers an excellent selection of sandwiches, salads, pastas and International main dishes and Thai favourites that are all prepared perfectly and can be enjoyed throughout the day.
With a smart casual atmosphere, popular with large yacht owners and residents desiring high quality and taste, this superior restaurant is certainly worth considering when exploring Phuket Town or the east of the Island. Open daily from 07:00 - 22:00 and offering a weekly Sunday brunch from 11:30 - 17:30. Reservations are suggested.
Natural Restaurant "Thamachat":
This totally unique restaurant is one of the most well known in Phuket, having been established for over 15 years, and having the most interesting décor. The restaurant is on split-levels covering 4 floors and each table has its own individual character or fascinating décor surrounding it, with wacky and zany use of antiques mixed with foliage and vines, everything is intertwined to mix intriguing items of by gone days with nature. The natural shade from the trees provides a cool atmosphere, so guests are in complete comfort to enjoy selections from the extensive Thai-Chinese and International menu.
The food is expertly prepared and is full of taste and with a huge selection of tempting dishes to choose from, diners are sure to leave completely satisfied. Prices are very reasonable, and all desires catered for, making the whole experience one not to be missed. Certainly an excellent venue for lunch if you are shopping in Phuket Town and need a substantial meal to sustain you for the remainder of the day. Open from 09;00 - 24:00 (Closed on Mondays).
Located in Dibuk Road in the heart of Phuket Town's vintage Sino-Portuguse area, this restaurant is one of the best finds on the Island. Opened in 2001 and with a large repeat clientele of local residents who visit again and again throughout the year, this is a firm favourite. Always assured of excellent quality food, a friendly welcome and a relaxed atmosphere, for lunch or dinner, Dibuk's is an excellent choice.
The food is a fabulous combination of Thai and French-style cuisine with delicious specials, but at reasonable prices, considering the quality and service. The attractive décor in the main restaurant is charming and unpretentious, leading through to a covered courtyard with additional tables and a Mediterranean feel. A good selection of wines is available to accompany meals to make Dibuk's a valuable all year round choice for an appetising lunch or mouth-watering dinner. Open daily from 11:00 - 23:00
Dibuk Grill and Bar:
Located just down the road from its sister restaurant, Dibuk Bar and Grill is equally as popular but concentrates more on casual dining and serving a mixture of international dishes such as pizzas, pastas and salads.
Still set in a beautiful Sino-Portuguese shophouse, with an interesting and colourful décor the atmosphere is relaxed and casual. A befitting choice for a reasonably priced, tasty lunch while taking a well earned break from exploring Phuket Town's past architecture and history. Open from Monday to Saturday from 11:30 - 15:00 for lunch, and 18:00 - 23:00 for dinner.
China Inn Café:
Located in the heart of Phuket's old town, on Thalang Road you will find a shop house that on initial viewing looks like a quaint shop full of Chinese antiques and artefacts for sale, however when you investigate further walking through this long shop house, you are welcomed into the dining area and courtyard behind. The vision and dedication of the gracious and hospitable owner, Khun "Noi" Promchan and her husband took over two years to renovate and create this unique venue, but well worth the effort, as it is incredibly popular with Phuket's residents and the discerning tourists who have been let in on the secret.
China Inn offers an extensive Thai menu, combined with several Western special, all cooked to perfection and accompanied by a 13 label wine list. Catering mainly for lunch, as it closes by 19:00 daily, except in high season when it is open for dinner on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, China Inn is a fabulous location for lunch when exploring Phuket Town.
Ka Jok See Restaurant & Bar:
Without doubt, Ka Jok See is one of the most famous restaurants in Phuket, not just because of the numerous articles that have been published about it, or because of its famous clientele, but because of it's wonderful food, unique entertainment, rhythmic music and it turning into a dance club for guests to party the night away until well into the night.
Without any advertising Ka Jok See has a large number of Phuket's residents who return regularly and introduce new customers by word of mouth, plus new guests visiting the Island desiring a romantic and intimate candlelit dinner, or the more adventurous diner wanting a good meal followed by a night of dancing and fun, all of course aided by the complimentary Mojitos brought round for customers throughout the evening. Accessed by long-tail boat (a free three minute ride) from Laem Hin Pier, just north of Phuket City on the east coast of the Island the restaurants combine fish farms keeping a variety of seafood such as crabs, prawns and a selection of fish, with the preparation and serving of delicious Thai dishes.
Guests access the seafood enclosures by walking along planks of wood, and they are invited to choose the seafood they wish to be prepared for them. There a number of floating restaurants to choose from, but we suggest the BANG IED RESTAURANT.
